Good Health begins in the Mind

It seems that many people want to live a happy, healthy life. The UK’s fitness and health industry is estimated at $7 billion annually. Australia’s health and fitness industry is second with an estimated $2.2 trillion AUD dollars. These are enormous numbers when you consider the number of products that make up this amount.

It’s no secret that we are being sold to in a shocking manner. To our shame, pride, and sanity. I get constant complaints from people about misinformation and ambiguity surrounding diets, nutrition, weight loss and health.

This article will highlight the health aspect that many businesses and doctors fail to address. It is important to remember that good health starts at your level of mind. You might wonder what I mean. Take a look at the many times that you might have hindered your efforts to lose weight and become healthier. You may not have considered the financial implications, but what was the biggest obstacle to your success? The mental discipline continues to be the most significant obstacle to long-term health.

I commented recently to a reader that she should be mindful and watch her conscious thoughts regularly. The subconscious mind regulates our autonomic nervous and is constantly monitoring your thoughts. You can use the following tips to improve your health and wellness.

1. Be aware of your dominant thoughts

What thoughts do your daily thoughts entertain? How do you talk to yourself on a daily basis? Are they self-empowering, or self-defeating Negative thoughts cause negative emotions. These emotions relay messages to every cell within your body. You are sending your body messages if you allow these thoughts to pervade your day.

For continued health, there is no need to spend money buying fad diets, potions and formulas. Instead, we must stop the negative inner chatter and instead replace it with positive thoughts. I guarantee you that your health problems will diminish if this is done for just one year. Herein lies the problem – controlling your thoughts is one of the hardest hurdles. It seems that no one is ready to do this work.

2. You shouldn’t start a conversation about these thoughts.

When you see disempowering thoughts, resist the urge to give them energy and create a dialogue with them. Many people think that thinking is true because they are having it. In my previous articles, I stated that we have approximately 70,000-80,000 thoughts per day. 77% of all thoughts we have are negative.

It means that you can expect at least 57.750 negative thoughts to come from a daily average of 75,000 thoughts. There are many problems in our lives, including poor financial decisions, ill health and toxic relationships. We are our worst enemy.

Recognizing that you have a negative belief about your body is a first step. You may accept it as a normal thought, or it might become a runaway thought. After you’ve identified the negative thought, ask yourself which qualities do I want? Then, draw your attention towards feeling good about yourself . Your cells listen.

3. Meditate or go into regular silence:

Meditation is a great practice for many reasons. Meditation has many benefits, but the most important is that it allows the mind and body to rest. The mind can take a break for just 10 to 15 minutes each day, instead of spending so much energy processing thoughts every day.

You will experience more peace and joy if your mind is at ease. You are peace and joy, this is the default setting that you were given at birth. Be free from all of the unnecessary thoughts and allow yourself to be fully present in your being. Your body knows best and has the ability to make decisions on its own. If you give it the right environment, your health will improve.

4. Be aware of your emotional makeup

What is your emotional nature? Are you a worrier, or do you feel overwhelmed by anxiety and stress at times. What can these toxic emotions do to your body? Tension in the stomach or neck, neck, back, headache, insomnia, irritability and other symptoms. These are all signs that you’re out of tune with your inner world.

By being aware of your emotions, you can become more mindful. This allows you the ability to deal with negative emotions in a way that doesn’t overwhelm you. This will help you avoid becoming overwhelmed by anxiety attacks. It is important to have a plan in place for how you will deal with them so that it doesn’t spiral out.
